The physical properties of CeTX (T = transition element ; X = np1 or np2 element)intermetallic compounds are depending on the hybridisation strength Jcf between 4f-cerium and conduction electrons. Hydrogenation of those compounds modifies both the molar volume and the density of states at the Fermi level, and thus Jcf. During this work, the influence of hydrogenation on the structural, electrical and magnetic properties of the following families has been studied: (i) CeNiX (X = Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge, Sn) which present an intermediate valence state of cerium ; (ii) CeCuX (X = Ga, Si, Ge, Sn) which exhibit a trivalent state of cerium with occurrence of magnetic ordering at low temperature ; (iii) CeMnX (X = Si, Ge) which show magnetic ordering o...
