SUMMARY: This study deals with drying modelling of a saturated deformable porous media (solid-liquid). This modelling takes into account the nature of the product as well as its initial conditions such as the moisture content and geometry. The objectives are to determine the mechanical stresses appearing within the material during drying, to control the deformation of the product and its moisture content. The originality of the proposed model consists in taking into account the pressure gradient as the real driving force for mass transport with the help of Darcy's law and taking into account the liquid compressibility.
