Espaces publics et pratiques ludo-sportives à Toulouse : l'émergence d'une urbanité sportive ?

The analysis of those uses gives us the opportunity to insist on the importance of public spaces in creating social relations in urban areas. Urban sports observed here reflect a particular kind of urbanity. The analysis of users social interactions, from consensus to conflict, enables a new interpretation of the urban forms and atmospheres. First, the uses question the public policies targeting sport, and especially how these policies take account of autonomous practising. Then, the study also question the choices made on land use in an urban context in which the automobile is still important. Finally, as recreational and sports urbanity occupies unevenly the territories and shows different kinds of territoriality, they reveal social divisions in the cityEn abordant la ville par les usages ludo-sportifs des espaces publics, cette étude propose de poser un regard différent sur le quotidien urbain. L'analyse de ce type d'usage permet d'insister sur le rôle primordial joué par les lieux publics dans la constitution du lien social en ville. Les pratiques sportives observées traduisent en effet une forme particulière d'urbanité. Oscillant entre accommodement, convivialité et conflit dans les relations aux autres, elles sont porteuses d'une lecture renouvelée des formes et des ambiances urbaines. L'urbanité sportive interpelle donc les politiques sportives, en particulier leurs modalités de prise en compte des pratiques autonomes. Elle questionne aussi le partage des espaces publics dans un contexte encore très marqué par la prégnance de l'automobile. Enfin, l'urbanité sportive en investissant inégalement les territoires et en se déclinant selon différentes territorialités est un révélateur des divisions sociales qui partagent la vill
