This work shows the preparation and characterization of organic-inorganic hybrid materials tophotonic applications. We show the theory that involves the preparation of these materials and showssome results of other works previously published involving similar initial materials. The materialobtained after hydrolysis and condensation reactions in presence of different zirconium concentrationsand the particles of these materials and also influence of the zirconium on pure hybrid U600 werecharacterized using X-ray analyses (diffraction and scattering).
