In interventional neuroradiology, the X-ray angiography machine is the reference imaging system to guide the doctor during the treatment. This machine allowsthe acquisition of 3D image showing the patient arteries (or 3DXA). Nevertheless, visual control of the tools deployment (guide, catheter?) in the arterial network is carried out with a real time 2D X-ray image (or fluoroscopic image). The purpose of this thesis was to contribute to the improvement of the image guidance techniques by proposing tools to allow the use of the 3D image during the treatment.The images being acquired with the same angiography machine, one part of this work was to develop reliable method to calibrate the imaging chain carried by the rotary arm of the machine. ...
