In this study, we developed new strategies for improving fire behavior of PolyEthylene Terephthalate (PET) recycled. The objectives of this work are to prepare composites and/or blends, based on a recycled PET matrix, with controlled mechanical properties and improved fire behavior, with the aim to develop technical applications of recycled PET in electrotechnical and household sectors. Such a project addresses the issue of reclaimed PET waste management and consequently is both an ecological and economical concern. Three strategies have been developed.
