The interpretation of the fluvio-deltaic deposits of Aigues-Mortes palaeo-gulf in the Holocene highlights two lobes evidenced by important intra-deltaic discontinuities. The analysis of these deposits was based predominantly on the new morphologic'pattern built by Bhattacharya and Giosan (2003) which proves to be efficient in the characterization of the processes.
