Atmospheric water vapor is an alternative water resource that could be more exploited. Highly infrared emissive materials are already used for diurnal passive cooling and air-conditioning. During the night, they have proved to cool their surface and to be an efficient and cheap technology for condensing artificial dew with common rates reaching 0.6 L m-² per night. The aim of this work was to enhance the knowledge and to develop the tools and the technology for transposing this application from experiment to complex and large scale real systems.
