The numerical simulation of long-distance, over-terrain propagation of electromagnetic waves has received considerable attention due to its strong impact on radar and communication technology. Usually, a bidimensional modelling is considered to treat with these topics. However, this kind of approach can consider neither transversal effects respect to emitter receiver vertical plane nor wave depolarization. To palliate these problems, a three dimensional approach must be consider.The modelling method proposed is based on 3D Parabolic Wave Equation (3DPWE).
