In this study, the role played by wall turbulence in particle transport has been investigated. To do this, two types of experiments have been performed. The first ones consist in the study of free surface flows laden with glass and ceramic beads. The second ones have been performed in controlled turbulence. In fact, we choose to create artificial ejections in order to investigate their influence on the particle transport.
