Since the discovery of carbon nanotubes and of their attractive electrical and mechanical characteristics in 1991 by Sumio Iijima, many studies aimed their uses in all kinds of applications and in particular in electronics. Thus, we proposed to center our research tasks towards the use of carbon nanotubes, because of their exceptional mechanical and electrical properties, for the realization of electromechanical functions for ultra high frequencies applications (RF-NEMS).
