Caractérisation d'un état dense de quarks et de gluons grâce aux fonctions d'excitation des hypérons multi-étranges mesurées avec l'expérience STAR au RHIC

In this work, we characterize the production of the multi-strange baryons Xi and Omega in Au+Au collisions at RHIC, where the possible formation of a matter of deconfined quarks and gluons (QGP) is expected. We analyze with the STAR experiment, the collisions obtained at an energy of 62 GeV, intermediate between the one reached at the SPS (17 GeV) and the nominal energy of RHIC (200 GeV). Transverse momentum spectra, yields and elliptic flow are measured with different methods allowing for a relevant estimation of systematic errors. The results are compared to statistical and hydrodynamic models that we have adapted for their use at 62 GeV. The so obtained chemical and dynamic properties of the created medium indicate the formation of a thermalized, at least partially, medium and suggests the formation of a comparable matter at 62 GeV and at 200 GeV.Dans ce travail, nous caractérisons la production des baryons multi-étranges Xi et Omega dans des collisions Au+Au produites au RHIC où l'on attend l'éventuelle formation d'une matière de quarks et de gluons déconfinés (QGP). Nous analysons avec l'expérience STAR les collisions obtenues à une énergie de 62 GeV, intermédiaire entre celle atteinte au SPS (17 GeV) et l'énergie nominale du RHIC (200 GeV). Les spectres en impulsions transverses, les taux de production et l'écoulement elliptique sont mesurés avec différentes méthodes permettant une estimation pertinente des incertitudes systématiques. Ces résultats sont comparés à des modèles statistiques et hydrodynamiques que nous avons adaptés à l'énergie de 62 GeV. Les propriétés chimiques et dynamiques du milieu ainsi obtenues indiquent la formation d'un milieu au moins partiellement thermalisé et suggèrent la formation d'un état comparable à 62 GeV et à 200 GeV
