The purpose of this PhD thesis was to use the magnetic properties of rocks (paleomagnetism, anisotropy of the magnetic susceptibility (ASM) and various techniques of magnetic mineralogy analysis), supplemented by some traditional methods (petrographic and electronic microscopy, texture goniometry, Raman spectroscopy, shape preferential orientation statistics and cathodoluminescence) to study the formation of metal deposits.
