The main technological issue for engineers is to put forward a low emission motorization whilst keeping competitive conception and realisation costs. Internal combustion engines are characterized by the fact the flame reaches the walls in places while only 30% of fresh gases were burned. Therefore, a big amount of the fuel burns in vicinity of wall. This is why it is essential to study flame-wall interaction mechanisms in order to develop and improve internal combustion engines' efficiency. This Ph.
