Contemporary musicology is an open field for computer-aided analysis. Building a computational approach of music analysis leads to ponder its modelisation and its representation within different fields of music analysis. First, graphical representation is a key to link analysis and composition and we study the case of György Ligeti's analysis of Structures IA by Pierre Boulez, making computer models of this piece with two softwares, OpenMusic et Rubato. These are visual programming environments and the latter use a powerful abstraction based on mathematical category theory.
