This thesis deals with complex fluid flows applied to micro-fluidics. Two different studies are conducted : first the case of newtonian fluids with different viscosities mixing in thin micro-channels, and then the case of wormlike micelles flows (non-newtonian fluids). In each case presented we first study the mathematical models in proof in order to determine their physical consistency, an then we perform a numerical analysis on the equation for further applications. In the first part we studied the mixing of newtonian fluids with different viscosities in the Stokes regime. A simplified model is derived from the Stokes model : the Reynolds model. This model reduction is well suited for micro-channels with a large width/height aspect ratio....
