The understanding of the transition mechanisms of laminar separated flows, which occur in many industrial applications, has a particular scientific interest. Notably, an accurate prediction of the first bifurcation and the development of reduced models associated to the dynamic of the perturbation could allow an optimization of the control procedure and increase the aerodynamic performances. In this context, we propose through this work an original stability analysis which takes into account the non parallelism effects of the flow. In particular, a global linear stability analysis on a flat plate separated flow, identify the influence of 2D and 3D global modes in the space and time dynamics of the perturbation.
