This study deals with the safety of standing passengers in guided public transportation systems. The analysis of the literature realised in this study indicates that the risk of fall, and thus of injury, is important for standing passengers. Moreover, it appears that the situation of standing passengers is intermediate between 1/ classical studies concerning the protection of transportation users; 2 / literature on perturbed stance.
