Imaging methods have recently emerged as tools to measure the zooplankton dynamics. These methods give both taxonomic and size structure information on the community. The two kinds of information are necessary to understand the zooplankton dynamics and its links to the environment. Yet, the present work will focalize more on the zooplankton size structuration information. The manuscript is organized in three chapters: methodology, ecological analysis and description of an eleven years time series, and modeling.
