The purpose of this work is the design and study of a domain decomposition method, the Optimized Order 2 (OO2) method, in order to solve convection-diffusion equation. Its main advantage is that it is a general domain decomposition technique, with no a priori knowledge of the boundary layers or the recirculation zones location. The OO2 Method is an iterative non overlapping domain decomposition method. The domain is divided into subdomains, and the physical problem is solved in each subdomain, with specific conditions at the interfaces. These conditions are differential equations of order 1 in the normal direction and of order 2 in the tangential direction to the interface, which are optimized approximations of Artificial Boundary Condition...
