The dynamics of the fragmentation process, rather simple for diatomic molecules, becomes more interesting in the case of poly-atomic molecules due to the coupling between the additional internal degrees of freedom (bending, stretching...). In order to reveal the role of these contributions, we studied several bent triatomic molecules (NO2, H2O, D2O, HDO). Ion-impact induced fragmentation of molecule is a well adapted way to observe the momentum sharing among atoms in a molecule due to a short interaction time (10-18s).
