To meet the quality standards (Water Framework Directive), an understanding of their dynamics is thus necessary and requires modelling work. We focus on transfer modelling through the unsaturated zone between the soil and groundwater. This medium can indeed generate significant delays between surface contamination and impact on the quality of groundwater resources. We therefore firstly studied precisely these transfers through sensitivity analyses with a physically-based model.
