The aim of the thesis is thus to improve the field validity for the CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) code for waves modelling, by integrating new numerical methods more efficient. The project should eventually lead to make a powerful simulation tool that can be used for forecasting the impact of waves in coastal areas and offshore. It is therefore completely in line with PRINCIPIA development activities in hydrodynamic with the aim of strengthening its position and support its growth.
