When simulating the opération of electromechanical devices, magnetic, electric and mechanical aspects should be simultaneously taken into account. The studied actuators are generally connected to an external electrical circuit and they also hâve magnetic and conductive moving parts. The modelling that is proposed is based on the finite élément method, which allows to find a discrète form for the équations of the phenomena to be treated. A formulation of the eddy current problem with movement is proposed, as well as the coupling with the electric and cinematic équations. This research work focuses on techniques that treat the movement of parts of the geometry in the simulations in the finite élément context. Two methods are presented and com...
