In a traditional process of design of mechanical products, the traditional organization is the product design and the sizing and finally optimization. The designers take risks in failing to assess product performance in the final stages of the process, and the optimization step is often ignored because of time or due to delays on other phases. The preliminary design is a delicate step because decisions must be taken in a little vague or defined. There are no adequate data tools and the study of several concepts multiply routine tasks and wasted time associated.
