We present in this work two examples of topological models based on cohomological ideas: - In the first example we show how to obtain topological invariants such as those of Donaldson, Mumford, Mathai-Quillen or of topological gravity by using equivariant cohomology. We present a universal method for obtaining such topological invariants based on a BRST type approach. We recall that there are different "schemes" that characterize equivariant theory and we show how the Kalkman's scheme optimizes the construction of invariants. - In the second example we study abelian Chern-Simons theories. We show how an approach based on Deligne-Beilinson cohomology can handle these theories on closed manifolds of dimension three. We show how the structure ...
