This work deals with hydrogen storage in metal hydrides. Many ways can be used for hydrogen storage. In order to secure high pressurized vessels (700 bar), a layer of an intermetallic compound is added between an aluminum and a composite ones. The latter reinforces the structure while the former one is used as a natural barrier for hydrogen. In case of crack in the aluminum layer, the intermetallic compound acts as a getter material.
