Designing applications for a person-aware environment (called person-aware applications) raises numerous challenges. Especially, devices are heterogeneous, environments are unstable and evolving, and users' needs are variable and imprecise. In order to facilitate the design of person-aware applications, we focus on the notion of flexible composite applications (FCAP): applications working continuously in the background of our attention with the goal of aggregating functionalities in order to support our activities.
