In this study, we present High-order Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of high Reynolds number turbulent ows over complex geometries. The Spectral Vanishing Viscosity technique (SVV) allows taking into account the energetic transferts to unresolved scales preserving the spec-tral accuracy of the approximation. A near wall correction of the model has been developed allowing a more accurate estimation of the complex energetic phenomena developing in the boundary layers. This local treatment is validated on the well documented test case of the fl ow over the square cylinder at Reynolds 21400.
