This work deals with the formation and characterization of new organic-inorganic systems using the Langmuir films and the Langmuir-Blodgett technique. Different ways have been explored to obtain thin hybrid films with several properties, in particular magnetic properties. The interaction between the cationic layers and the anions in the subphase has led to the organization of different inorganic polyanions in lamellar structures. This strategy has been then generalized to Prussian Blue colloids, which are extended bimetallic compounds.
