The object-oriented approach allows the development of complex and reliable applications with less effort than with classical approaches. The objectives of this research are, on the one hand, to propose a complete conceptualization of object-oriented simulation models and, on the other hand, to implement them by using concurrent programming techniques. After the presentation of the manufacturing systems and their management in chapter I, we classify the different structure and simulation models for production systems in chapter n.
