Abstract

Our objective was to evaluate the impact of teacher training when teachers are required to include children with mild intellectual disabilities in their classes. Our interest in training is based on several studies. A lack of confidence in teachers regarding inclusive education has been noted and therefore they should receive specific training to act properly towards the students concerned. Teacher training is therefore critical to promote inclusive practices. For this project, fifteen children with light mental disabilities participated and have benefited from inclusion.
