The national commitments concerning terrestrial transport are promoting rechargeable vehicles according to actual environmental, technical or economic exigencies. To this end, the contribution of this thesis, related to the Smart Grids, covers simultaneously the fields of electric utility grids, rechargeable vehicles, and residential areas. The first step consists in the assessment the impacts caused by a high penetration level. The research then focuses on two major problems : the voltage plan and the aging rate of low voltage transformer, particularly those supplying residential areas.
