In cold spraying, particles are accelerated in the gas jet to achieve a high velocity and deposit on the substrate with a solid state. One of potential and important applications of cold spray is realizing the composite coatings. The incorporated ceramic particles in the composite coating can greatly influence the microstructure and properties of the coatings.
