One of our public health priorities is at present the prevention of pathological aging and this implies the comprehension of the different determinants of successful aging. Sleep disorders because of its frequency, its impact on mortality, its consequences on the occurrence of comorbidities and on quality of life, must be taken into account to promote successful aging. Our research has demonstrated the importance of one aspect of sleep: the sleep complaint. We have shown a significant link between sleep complaints and memory complaints.
