Electrospinning process has become a leading technique for producing nano-fibrous scaffolds that are highly porous, lighter, and with superior mechanical properties than their bulk equivalents. Structural properties of electrospun fibers closely resemble to the connective cell tissue, making these nonwovens readily employed in medicine and pharmacy.
