Granular media, dry and wet, are ubiquitous in natural environment and industry. However, how to mix a liquid in a granular medium is still an open question. More precisely, the mechanisms implied in the mixing and the related physics are not known. How will evolve a heterogeneous system containing highly saturated areas and dry areas, whose properties are very different? This work starts with the study of the erosion mechanism of a wet cohesive granular medium by a dry flow. The first part focuses on the dynamics of the process in a tumbler. We have showed that the liquid properties have a special influence on the capillary bridges rupture dynamics.
