Prostate cancer, which is frequent but not much morbid, is diagnosed thanks to prostate biopsies. This gesture, which is performed under 2D ultrasound endorectal imaging, is complex and gives little quantitative information about the samples. That's why robotizing biopsies is seen as an interesting way to improve the quality of the prostate cancer diagnosis.
