Control of the safety of hydraulic structures is a major priority in the field of civil and hydraulic engineering. During its life, the hydraulic structure is submitted to variable hydromechanical, physicochemical and climatic loads that may contribute to its possible failure. Among the resulting phenomena, soil erosion under all its forms is a major challenge which it is important to understand, control and prevent. The objective of this work is to study soil erosion by the Jet Erosion Test.
