Studies of coastal aquifers based on a constant mean sea level generally not consider the impact of oceanic oscillations. Our approach combines a long-term recording of “La Nappe des Sables” (adjacent to the fringing reef system of l'Ermitage, La Reunion) with numerical models in order to investigate the influence of these oceanic seasonal oscillations on groundwater hydrodynamics, seawater intrusions and submarine groundwater discharges. Analyzing both the behavior of the aquifer and the oceanic domain (reef), this study integrates a continuous recording of 600 days.
