The phenomenon of the decomposition of certain guidelines in fcc crystals rolling is studied by compression experiments on single crystals flat, in parallel with an original theoretical modeling. The heterogeneous deformation of aluminum crystal orientation (001) Kho) is associated with large crystal rotations of opposite directions around DT. The decomposition kinetics are consistent with a Taylor-type models released, while the spatial distribution of deformation bands is explained by a detailed analysis of their plastic deformation incompatibilities.
