This thesis focuses on the design of a power conversion system using a multiphysic optimization. A system approach is applied, since the electronic filters, a DC-to-DC converter, a DC motor, and the system control are considered simultaneously. The electromechanical energy transformation is of prime importance, although the thermal behavior of the entire system is also significant. Conducted electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues are discussed and integrated in our approach. The first step of the methodology is the establishment of the various physical models for each sub-system. Then, these models must be coupled so that an optimization algorithm can be applied.
