Multiple sclerosis is a chronic inflammatory and demyelinating disease of the central nervous system having a highly variable clinical expression from patient to another. Given this heterogeneity, the identification of neuroimaging biomarkers able to reflect damages responsible for cognitive and motor deficits found in these patients is crucial for evaluating the efficacy of new therapies.
