The effect of the magnetic fields on the matter transfer processes can appear primarily before the existence of two forces. The first one is the electromagnetic force which result from the interaction of the magnetic field B with the current density J according to: FL=jxB. The other force is the one acting on the paramagnetic species in solution: F(m/20)B2C , with χm molar magnetic susceptibility, μ0 the magnetic permeability and C concentration of paramagnetic species. This expression results from an energy approach. The work presented here aims on one hand to highlight the existence of the forces of magnetic origin and, on the other hand, to quantify their influence on matter transfer processes.
