The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and Academic Affairs is responsible for two general, but related areas. The Vice Provost coordinates the faculty career development process, including faculty reappointment, tenure, promotion, and periodic peer review. The other area encompasses efforts to enhance teaching and learning, expand undergraduate research, provide international educational and work opportunities, promote professional practice, implement the honors program, coordinate academic advising, and improve the overall quality of the undergraduate academic experience. Many of these activities will be integrated into the programming and building of the Undergraduate Learning Center which the Vice Provost is coordinating. The Vice Provost is also responsible for enrollment services including undergraduate admissions and financial aid
