Introduction: some limitations are revealed for socializing the consequences asociated with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2), virus that causes COVID-19, in maternal and perinatal health. Objective: to gathered information related to the influence of COVID-19 on pregnancy.Method: from January throughout February 2021, a narrative review was conducted for a research at the Hospital General Docente “Dr. Agostinho Neto” in Guantánamo.
