Impact of road transport infrastructure on development of entrepreneurship

Wpływ infrastruktury transportu drogowego na rozwój gospodarczy w znacznym stopniu zależy od skali, w jakiej go badamy. W skali makro wpływ ten jest najczęściej pozytywny, a w skali regionalnej określany jako złożony i wieloaspektowy. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań, które miały pomóc określić ten wpływ w skali lokalnej. Wyniki wskazują, że powstanie nowej infrastruktury transportu drogowego (autostrad) wywiera wpływ na rozwój przedsiębiorczości. Wpływ ten określono jako złożony i niejednoznaczny.The impact of road transport infrastructure on economic development largely depends on the scale of analysis. While on a macro level the impact is mostly positive, on a regional scale it is most often defined as complex and multi-faceted. The paper presents the results of research that was carried out to help determine the impact of road transport infrastructure on local economies. The results indicate that the formation of new road transport infrastructure (highways) has a measurable influence on the development of local entrepreneurship.
