The issue of children adaptation was presented based on the example of two immigrant groups. The results of research into two immigrant children groups were taken into consideration: Polish immigrant children in Norway (conducted in 2010-2013) and Ukrainian immigrant children in Poland (conducted in 2018). The educational process and their becoming a migrant pupil were shown from the perspective of their experiences. Moreover, the study presented the children's relationship with peers from the accepting country, their engagement and status in the group.
