This is particularly serious in the communities with high positive rate of HIV infection in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this report, an attempt made in Lusaka, Zambia was highlighted to share lesson to learn in the activities, by which reduce management cost for trace survey. Due to chronic shortage of qualified nurses in national level health human resource of Zambia, the ongoing TB control programme could not make maximal use of nurses as a core personnel.
