OBJECTIVE\ud To evaluate the implementation of a ‘problem-based’ learning (PBL) curriculum within midwifery.\ud \ud DESIGN:\ud A ‘realistic evaluation’ model based on cost-effectiveness models of economics, and incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methodology.
